VIN Problem (E53 X5) - PixelBarnX5 - 17.12.2021

Hello all,

I installed my resler dongle today and bought the DSP + OBC license today. I had all the confirmation emails etc. 

However there appears to be an issue with my VIN ... The VIN I have registered with is correct, as taken from the chassis plate of my car. However, when I look on the 'information' tab in the app it shows a totally different VIN.

Also every time I attempt to unlock the app I get a message saying 'Module Unlock Succesful' but then as soon as I go back to the unlock screen it shows 'Your vehicle is not unlocked'.

Is this as simple as my license hasn't yet been activated or do I have a further problem?

Have you tried opening the install on a computer and re enter your vin? Don't really remember if you can.. I have Imac here at home and everything I need to do with the program on the computer, I need to to on a windows computer at work..

I my self have encountered some problems - I have the same car as you just 08/03.. I have a problem, that you may have encountered.. My Ibus module, is only functional when I plug it in, after I then turn of the engine, it does not, ( when started again, ) shows any of the measurements in the OBC - I am going insane - I think I have tried everything and I almost installing a "reboot contact" on the red wire

Hi,

this is maybe because the LCM have been changed unprofessionally without fitting it to the car.
So there are 2 options:
1) fit LCM to the car (VIN, mileage and coding) - RECOMMENDED
2) order a VIN swap to change VIN for your license on our server to the shown VIN in the app.
