where’s APP took VIN

Hello, I have a BMW e39 523i but since I upgrade my engine (stroke) I use a other DME (the OEM DME was MS42, now I have the MS43)
so my question, I just buy the AVIN 10.25” with iBus app and they ask me my VIN, at the moment the EWS of my car are the original, and all other units use the MS43 VIN from the DME (IKE, LSM, GM)
so I give my “new” MS43 VIN, but dont know if the iBus took the VIN info from EWS or from were?

We read VIN from LCM.
But in general it would be better to fit all ecus to the car to got same VIN, mileage etc.
